Thanks for the input, but the "use small taskbar buttons" is not checked.  The icons in the taskbar, however, are much smaller than they were in Windows 7 when I could make them larger.  I am beginning to think that icons in the taskbar can never be larger than they are now.  I was able to make the buttons (icons) on the desktop and the text under them larger.  I also tried to make the taskbar taller but that did not seem to work, I would get the up/down arrow and try to move it up just a bit thinking that would allow the icons to get bigger, but the taskbar would not get taller.

Hi Ronald,

Thank you for responding.

Provide us the screen shot of the Taskbar to know if the icons are small on your device or if it by design as you see.

In Windows 7 the taskbar icons could be made larger than these.

Could you please tell us why this is by design, as I have seen literally hundreds of posts on various forums complaining about this issue and I can't think of a single reason for reducing the size of taskbar icons without a way to make them bigger again.

And I'd love to offer feedback to microsoft, but since I set my diagnostic and usage data too low the Feedback App won't work.

Hi there, just came across your problem re taskbar icon size

I'm using win 7  btw.  Change icon size in taskbar (not sure if it will work with Win 10 as have never used that system) by Desktop/Control Panel/Display

Your screen size will be 100% default so change to Medium which might be 125%  .   This should increase the icon size

Hope this helps in some way.. Good luck

The so called large icons are yet to small (24x24) and too blurry (no apps include a 24x24 pixel icon). How do we restore the 32x32 icons that we've been using for the last 12 years? Thanks
